The files you need to complete this activity are available in a zip folder on the course website. Download that zip file and unzip it into a convenient location.
- The PixLab folder contains two directories: classes and images. Navigate to the classes directory which is where the source files for this project are located. You can double-click on the package.bluej file there to launch the project in BlueJ.
The Student Guide is available in PDF form from the course website, but you'll be using a paper copy distributed in class, to guide your progress through the activity.
- Read along with the Student Guide as you work your way through the activities.
- Read carefully! This activity is not just about processing images. There is a lot of important review material in here: arrays, nested loops, interfaces.
- In the packet, write your answers to the Questions given. There isn’t much room, so write concisely.
- From the packet, follow the instructions listed in each Exercises section.
There is no need to upload any of the programming assignments that you complete from this project.

This assignment is worth 40 points. For credit on this assignment you will be:
- Turning in your completed Student Guide
- Demonstrating for the instructor the work that you’ve done an two different exercises, selected by the instructor and evaluated in class.
